What are the Dimensions of a Cornhole Board?
Official cornhole board dimensions are as follows:
- Length: 48 inches (122 cm)
- Width: 24 inches (61 cm)
- Height: 12 inches (30.5 cm) at the back, sloping down to 3 inches (7.6 cm) at the front
- Hole diameter: 6 inches (15.24 cm)
- Center of hole to top of board: 9 inches (23 cm)
- Center of hole to sides of board: 12 inches (30.5 cm)
The board should be made of a smooth, durable material. The most common wood right now is baltic birch. The hole should be centered in the board, 9 inches from the top and 12 inches from each side. Better boards will have thicker tops and more horizontal support bars underneath to reduce bounce and board movement. If you’re building your own boards, make sure you round the corners so as not to pierce or cut anybody’s bags if they miss.
